Examination

Sometimes referred to as a "check-up", the examination is the first thing we do to assess oral health, discuss different options for both health and cosmetic needs, and take photographs and x-rays if required.

This appointment also includes an oral-cancer screening from the clinician.

Examinations usually take no longer than 20 minutes, but can take longer in higher-needs cases. It is possible that x-rays may be taken at this appointment, which for private fee paying patients are charged as extra cost to the dental examination.
