Mouth Guards

Mouth guards are removable appliances used to protect patients from contact sports injuries to the mouth, and for those with TMD (jaw muscle aches).

Mouth guards are relatively straightforward to have made, and can be created in two appointments (impression appointment, fit appointment).

​

For those with TMD, we usually start with the thinnest acrylic mouthguards available, and then move onto thicker versions if you find yourself regularly wearing through them.

 

We start with the thinnest acrylic mouthguards first to prevent negative impacts to the bite.
