Smile Straightening

Aclear aligner systems are modern solutions to improving the alignment of teeth. These aligners are removable and discreet.

Features

  • Removable aligner which is not fixed in your mouth

  • Comfortable to wear

  • Discreet

What is the treatment process?

  1. Your provider confirms you're suitable for treatment and may take x-rays, photographs and impressions of your teeth. These records are then used to design your custom-made aligner plan.

  2. Your aligners will be sent from the laboratory to your dentist. After receiving them, you'll wear each aligner for around 2 weeks

  3. You'll visit your dentist every 6-8 weeks to monitor progress and receive new aligners. The entire process typically takes between 6-18 months, but this can vary depending on complexity.

  4. After completing treatment, you will wear a retainer to ensure your teeth remain straight.

Patients may be recommended to wear aligners for 22 hours per day, however they can be removed for eating and drinking, as well as for oral hygiene such as brushing and flossing.

Alignment systems use small, controlled movements over time to gradually correct a smile.

Who is suitable for Invisalign/Smilelign?

  • Those with overcrowding, gaps and slightly mispositioned teeth.

  • Those who are dentally stable, with excellent oral hygiene.

  • Those without complex orthodontics needs which may require more comprehensive orthodontic treatment, such as fixed braces.

Smile straightening techniques can be used effectively with Smile Shaping and Whitening to help create your desired teeth alignment, shape, and shade.
